Will there be a boot splash like the one in suse, mandrake?

you would still be able to see what's going on even with a
bootsplash-like thingie.. (like most them, pressing F2 will show all
boot messages)

I think something is coming up in Hoary, but not bootsplash, something
better I heard... :)
