new Apple iBook experience

I've been saving my pennies for months for an Apple iBook (currently
on workers comp, so saving money is difficult). I'm about 75% there
and I was glad to see that Apple just updated their iBook line. It
still may happen, but I think it's less likely that they'll release a
G5 iBook if they just "freshened" the G4 model. :-)

I don't expect many people have the new model yet, but if you do I
would love to hear some experiences using Ubuntu on it. There were
some rather substantial upgrades, like built-in Airport Express,
faster processor (and faster bus speed I think), new video card (ATI
Radeon 9200 w/32Mb vram), etc.).

I've been really impressed with Ubuntu's performance on my lowly
333Mhz iMac. I can't imagine what it's like on a modern G4 or G5 (or
dual G5!?!).

In case other people beat me in getting the new iBook, try to remember
this post so you can offer your feedback in the future! :-)

Thanks!
