Hmm. Ok, it sounds like after resume your machine sends a large number
of interrupts when the kernel isn't expecting them - as a result, it
disables the interrupt. Your best bet is probably to file a bug in
bugzilla with the above information (ie, interrupt being disabled after
resume). It's /probably/ the case that something is getting confused.
Does booting with the noapic option make any difference?
