modem port on laptop

Hi everybody,

I'd like to set up a connection for a 56k modem with pppconfig.

The modem port is not recognized automatically. How can I find out what 
port to put in the configuration file ? I had a look in the device 
manager, but I just cannot see where the port used by the modem is 
mentionned in the modem section.

I ue a IBM Thinkpad X20 with 3Com MiniPCI 56k Winmodem.
