steps needed to make cups available over network

Sorry, this may not be a specific ubuntu question, but as i never had
problems with it under Debian with same setup...

i have a soho-server/router/desktop/all-in-one) running ubuntu and two
laptops running ubuntu. an usb printer is connected to the all-in-one
machine and works fine local using cups.

but my trials to get cups listen and answering to the internal network
using @IF(eth1) had no success. With some configuration I'am able to
connect it via http://192.168.1.1:631 and browse at cupsys (login isnt
permitted at all).

Does anyone have a hint for me what could be wrong? Or has Ubuntu's
cupsys some specials build in i should be aware about?

regards Jensens
