crystal audio on a dell optiplex gx1p

Hi,

I'm having trouble with the onboard soundcard on this dell optiplex gx1p.
No sound card was detected after the installation. Alsa doesn't find any 
  soundcard to use, giving the following error at boot up.
alsactl: load_state error 1134

When I read /var/log/messages
I see that isapnp detected a CS4236B card.
But there is no sound device /dev/dsp available and therefore the volume 
control doesn't want to work.

I loaded the ad1848 modules manually, and /var/log/messages shows me the 
CS4236B, has the following address, dma 1,3 io 0x0534, irq 5
When I load the cs4232 modules with insmod giving that adress, the 
/dev/dsp is available, but i don't know how to automate this for boot up 
and i don't know how to make alsa use it.
