Hi everybody,
Thanks for making this state-of-the-art distro.
but I really need help!

It's been 2 weeks I installed Ubuntu on my laptop (Campaq Evo N800c, graphic
card = Ati radeon 7500, Intel P4/m)

I did my "apt-get update && apt-get upgrade"
but I still have 4 problems!

1) when I want to launch my gnome-terminal, it looks like is launched but it
exits automatically without prompt me in any way!

I use xterm, and I want to change (and add) keyboard shortcuts for example: Run
a terminal, if I set this shortcuts it will be gnome-term (and it doesn't
work).
How can I change the command line to set "xterm" instead of "gnome-terminal"???

2) I have the same problem with the device manager, I want to launch it, but
it's still exiting everytime I want to launch it. (kinda hard to manage my
device whitout it, isn't it)

3) Somebody must explain me why my ati-driver is installed (fglrxinfo works)
but
I tried tuxracer, and it's the slowest game I have ever seen, I mean too much
lag!! It seems like driver isn't running
what should I do?

I do like Ubuntu and its philosophy, thanks again

thanks also to people which can help me
