Howto - Install vmware tools in Ubunto (VMware 4.5) + co

A follow up.

I had first installed Ubuntu without the VMWare Tools.  It had set up my XF86Config-4 file just fine, but I wanted to enable the shared file capability.

Anyway, after following your instructions and going into XF86Config-4 to get the right mouse device, I noticed some of the GLX screensavers weren't running.

So I compared the old file with the new, and made some other changes.  

I would expect these to be video card and/or monitor specific, so there may not be any overall directions.

So far, with my NVidia card, I had to at least uncomment the 
Load "glx"
line under the Module section, to get back all the fun screensavers.
