Problem with Palm Zire

Hi everyone,
I've got a problem with my (white, standard and cheap ;).) Zire.
With the visor and usbserial modules loaded at boot I am able to hotsync
to evolution 2 or 3 times without any problems. The corresponding dmesg
message is:
        
        Oct 20 14:26:04 localhost kernel: usb 5-2.4: new full speed USB

        Visor / Palm OS converter detected

But then, after trying to hotsync again, without any actual cause, i
only get these ones:
	
        Oct 20 14:28:34 localhost kernel: usb 5-2.4: new full speed USB
        device using address 13
        Oct 20 14:28:39 localhost kernel: usb 5-2.4: control timeout on
        ep0out
        Oct 20 14:28:44 localhost kernel: usb 5-2.4: control timeout on
        ep0out

Has anyone seen/heard of this before, or, even better, knows a
solution? :)
