Perhaps this is a firewall issue? Or does it work for WinSCP?
FWIW, I just connected fine to a Fedora Core 2 server running OpenSSH. I
am using public key authentication, no passwords used.
What I do like to know is whether it is possible to use compression. I use
ssh -C a lot because of limited bandwidth, and this can sometimes greatly
increase throughput. Can I configure this somewhere?
