I guess this will teach me to go look at the bugs first. It claims it was fixed in Bug #1417 [https://bugzilla.ubuntu.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1417] Although it doesn't give any information about fixing it on machines that were already installed and exhibiting the bug. So my post wasn't a COMPLETE waste of bandwidth I hope. :) DT
