therm_adt746x and 12" PowerBook

Dear all,

If I have understood it correctly the therm_adt746x module is for 
controlling the fans on the G4 Alu PowerBooks. I have the first generation 
12" PowerBooks and I'm running the latest Ubuntu (upgraded a couple of 
hours ago). I'm running kernel 2.6.8.1-3 and when I do a "modprobe 
therm_adt746x" I just get the following error message:

FATAL: Error inserting therm_adt746x 
(/lib/modules/2.6.8.1-3-powerpc/kernel/drivers/macintosh/therm_adt746x.ko): 
No such device

Have I misunderstood something when it comes to the hardware support?
