Login Failure ICEauthority Corrupt

i guess you have k3b installed...if thats the case, see the last block
on this page:

for the moment you should change the permissions of the file (not the
content) with the following command after login (copy n paste):

sudo chown $USER.$USER .ICEauthority

this should enable your X again.
