Mainstream social and cultural sensitivities is surely an oxymoron. 
Mainstream for where?  If we are making everything grey and middle of 
the road to avoid offending anyone what's the point of living.  I'm not 
too interested in turning the whole world into the 'mainstream'.  Let's 
celebrate diversity and ubuntu ;-)
