here's how I create/manage a db using Rekall as an xbase front end-
install xbase and Rekall; open Rekall; run the "new db" wizard, choosing
xbase; open new db in Rekall; create tables, forms, queries, etc *from
within Rekall*. Implementation wise, Rekall-gui/xbase ~ Access-gui/jet
(well, I haven't run Access since 2.0, so I'll add IIRC <g>).
Close enough? And the new sqlite driver looks promising, since sqlite
is more powerful than xbase, and appears to be much more actively
developed.
