Mmmm, don't you think that the guys working on ubuntu have got a lot of 
work on their hands attempting to get the worlds best desktop distro out 
of the doors over the next couple of weeks.

Things like the doc list will get set up eventully and things will move 
on but Jeff (who I think said the doc list was on his list of things to 
do, along with the forums and the website) has got a *lot* of work on at 
the moment getting other stuff done.

would you rather have a world class support network set up first and 
then no product or would you have a world class OS and then latter the 
support network.

You can't forget you are using a product (and admittingly helping 
support a product) that isn't yet released.  When you live on the 
cutting edge sometimes you have to bleed.  At the moment the bleeding is 
the support side of things but like I said these things have to come 
second to the product at this time and users who wish to contribute to 
the documentation are best served answering faqs and pointing newbies in 
the right direction at this time.
