Random erros closing a laptop

Hi there,

i have a DELL Inspiron 8600.

The "normal" Power function "power off on shutting down" works now
(didn't work with the first preview release) but when i close my laptop
without shutting down i get random erros:

1. The laptop freezes (one time in X, one time on a console) or
2. i only see a blinking cursor.

Maybe there are more errors but i only tried it about four times.

One time when i was logged in in X the screensaver started when i opened
again and asked for a password. Is that the standard behavior? I like it
much... Sadly enough is that it only worked one time :-(

Am i doing something wrong or are there still some bugs in the power
management?
