Runaway Mouse

I helped someone out with this problem once before and it ended up being
the KVM. He had a very cheap KVM and once it was replaced he had no more
problems. We figured it out by seeing if you could boot straight into
linux and not have any problems and vice versa in windows. He did say
that he had no problems when he had two windows boxes, so maybe there is
another solution but the fact that the KVM degraded his resolution so
much was another reason just to buy a new one.
