kernel patch for ite controller(gigabyte mainboard)

I have a gigabyete KNXP Mainboard and use the Onboard ITE 8212 Raid 
Controller in
ATA Mode.
i followed this guide to compile the kernel module,

but i get a bunch of errors, most are in german, but it cant find 
scsi_module.c and other files.
Im running the smp kernel and have the headers installed.
Maybe the Ubuntu team can use this kernel patch in their next releases,

i think there are many mainbaords with this chip out there.
