modprobe ndiswrapper problems after fresh install!?!

Hello,
  I had the same issue, I read the ndiswrapper howto on the ndiswrapper site and
it said to modprobe ndiswrapper. I found out though that you have to do
"ndiswrapper -i driver.inf" first.  There is a howto on the ubuntu site that I
followed, under the documents section, you might have to expand the howto links
but that worked perfect for me.
