Ooooh, I remember that now you mention it.  But dpkg seems to behave
more sanely on some recently installed machines where I've never run
dselect, having switched my allegiance to aptitude.  Or does it?  I
did have some odd things happen on that one Woody install where I
skipped both tasks and dselect for some reason (and used only aptitude
later).  Hmmmm...

If I find it I think I'd better bookmark it.  :-)

BTW, as far as I can see after all this brush-clearing, the CLI package
"sqlite" is absent from warty after all.  It probably would be useful
for anyone using an sqlite database, and is recommended by sqlite-doc.
