nvidia driver for AMD64 distro

Hi all,

First time posting to this list. :)

Trying to get this distro working on my system. I would consider my
skill level as intermediate. Overall my impression of Ubuntu is quite
favourable - I love how simple and uncluttered it is.

The main thing I'm running into problems with is installing the nVidia
drivers. Has anyone had any luck getting them working? Once again, this
is for the AMD64 distro - not the 32-bit one.
