dbus compile problems

I have been trying to get dbus from cvs to install for along time, so
that I can play with beagle. I have tried installing just about every
library I can think of, plus looking for the error messages online.
Have come up with nothing so I will post here, because it seems to be
Ubuntu specific. Here is the output of "./autogen.sh"

hornbeck at ubuntu42 ~/cvs/dbus/dbus $ ./autogen.sh
I am going to run ./configure with no arguments - if you wish
to pass any to it, please specify them on the ./autogen.sh command line.
You should add the contents of `/usr/share/aclocal/libtool.m4' to
`aclocal.m4'.
