Adding Truetype fonts to ubuntu

I'm at work right now, so I don't have my ubuntu box, but off the top of my
head, I know that OO uses it's own engine for TTF's. I believe you have to run
the command 'ooadmin' or maybe it's 'oopadmin' (sorry, no linux box at work) and
then import the fonts from the dialog that shows up.
For Gnome, you can create a folder called "~/.fonts/", and then put all your
.ttf's in there. If you log out and back in, you should have access to them.
There's probably a font manager in Gnome as well, but I can't check for it right
now. )
