Single click results in double click

Hi,

I think I have been hit by a bug: sometimes when I single click an item
(an item in the menu, a mail in Evolution) the action results in a
double click. This means that Ubuntu opens two terminals instead of one
etc.

Have anyone else experienced this ?

My double click threshold is 0,4 seconds.
