Laptop install report

Sorry for not including more details in the initial e-mail.

Xp had just crashed on me and I was really disappointed that Ubuntu 
didn't like my laptop.

I have had a few requests for more information. When Xp crashes again, 
I'll try Ubuntu again.  Hopefully by then, I will be able to install it 
flawlessly.

If I still run into problem though, I will add details as to what went 
wrong.

Don't get me wrong, Ubuntu is an awsome distro that runs beautifully on 
my desktop.
