Updated synaptic package available, please help testing

No problem at all... sorry I'm still very new to Ubuntu, so didn't know 
that I'm supposed to do the following.

> to get the new libxml2 libraries and and install the new synaptic

Thanks, the new synaptic now works OK in that workstation. Very nice.
