Using rpm repository?

redhat and debian have a different packaging approaches.
redhat packages are course than debian packages and a result there
is no one to one mapping. So I don't even know how to begin automatically
mapping the rpm package requirments into deb dependences. The only solution
I can think of is sitting down and manually mapping these.
IMHO if you are going to do that kind of work, what not share the deb package
