USB CD-writer

Hello,
I having a problem with my usb cdwriter ( usb zip CD )from Iomega.
When I take a look with USB vieuw I get the message below. so I think he
is recognized

When I do cdrecord -scanbus I get the next message. And I am very
surprised that I see "Cannot open '/dev/pg*'. Cannot open SCSI driver."

When open the device manager I can see that the cdwriter is /dev/sr0.
can you tell me how to fix this ?
