SUDO goof-up

Try this:


sudo chown -R ${USER}. .



I have what may be a similar problem; if I login as me, and in the first 
temrinal window I open, I do this:
sudo -s

then when I finish the root shell, ~/.bash_history is owned by root.

Whoops.
