SUDO goof-up

Someone else reported a similar bug:

but so far none of the developers are able to reproduce it.

I tried running firefox as root in order to test, but it still works as
expected for me.  However, you should never run firefox using sudo; this is
not a good idea as it could change the ownership of its configuration files
to root, leaving you unable to run firefox normally.
