k3b problem copying Audio CD

Manages to install k3b fairly easily but when I try to copy a audio CD it will not play in a domestic CD player.  I can copy it easily on XP using roxio.  I selected clone CD and RAW (also tried without RAW).  I was running it under sudo as I got a few warnings and could not run k3bsetup.
