How do you make a copy of a CD in Gnome?

put the CD in the drive, type in a terminal: 
dd if=/dev/cdrom of=/home/$USER/Desktop/warty-install.iso bs=1024

this creates a .iso file on your desktop....
right click the .iso file and select "burn to disc"
