Thanks to Sean Legassick I could manage to solve the problem in my
Toshiba Satellite 2410-303, using Nvidia GeForce4-420 Go

Just edit your XF86Config-4 file, the Device Section, where to write:

Section "Device"
    Identifier    "NVIDIA Corporation NV17 [GeForce4 420 Go]"
    Driver        "nvidia"
    BusID        "PCI:1:0:0"
    Option        "IgnoreEDID" "1"
    Option        "NoLogo" "1"
EndSection

That worked for me.
