partioning power pc and OSX/ubuntu dualboot

I should point out that this is on an "OldWorld" Mac that uses BootX
as its bootloader -- not yaboot like the new ones. All BootX requires
to get going is an OS 7/8/9 install so, since OS 7/8/9 don't care
about the partition they're on, BootX won't either.
