Error in running gconfig/xconfig - HELP!

Ok, I figured out part of this...I need to add in the hostap and
hostap_crypt_wep modules out of the HostAP driver page.  No problem,
I've got them.  Where am I supposed to put them? Obviously somewhere in
the /usr/src/linux-sounce-2.6.8.1 directory, but that only narrows it
down so much.
