Okay, here's how you do it:
Get Java and install it wherever. Make sure it's the binary and not the
RPM.
Then, you need to execute the following commands. You need to be root
for this to work if you're using the deb package version of Firefox:
# cd /usr/lib/mozilla-firefox/plugins
# ln -s /path/to/java/plugin/i386/ns610-gcc32/libjavaplugin_oji.so
libjavaplugin_oji.so
Make sure you type libjavaplugin_oji.so the second time, or else it
won't work.
