wlanctl-ng ... what is it and where can I get it?

I'm continuing my trials of making a NetGear MA111 work with my iBook in
a wireless network.

Rob Weir offered a command line solution that may work ... see below:

> sudo rmmod prism2_usb
> sudo modprobe prism2_usb prism2_doreset=1
> sudo wlanctl-ng wlan0 lnxreq_ifstate ifstate=enable
> sudo wlanctl-ng wlan0 lnxreq_autojoin ssid="INSERTSSIDHERE"
> authtype=opensystem

when I run the third line, I get:

> rscow at LinuxBox:~ $ sudo wlanctl-ng wlan0 lnxreq_ifstate ifstate=enable
> Password:
> sudo: wlanctl-ng: command not found

I've looked for wlanctl-ng in apt-get and symantic. It's not installed on my distro, that I can find.

Is this a package I should install?

Thanks.
