Suggestions on packages to add to Ubuntu "main"

'Athcool' (http://members.jcom.home.ne.jp/jacobi/linux/softwares.html)
would be very useful addition as it's only '23KB'
(http://mirror.isp.net.au/ftp/pub/ubuntu/pool/universe/a/athcool/) in
size and for folks with an AMD cpu and no convenient net access it
could be an energy and (cpu) life-saver in one. It keeps my Athlon
running about 10°C cooler when activated.



Since it is only for AMD cpus and some motherboard chipsets may have
problems with it (although the vast majority should work just fine), it
couldn't be part of automatic startup sequence at this stage, but having
it available by default would also help publicize its existense and
maybe help reduce global energy consumption by a few kilowatt hours.
