Netgear wireless how-to ... Anyone successfully make this work?

I'll give that a try, Rob.  I can see that a wlan connection is 
supposed to exist using the networking app, but  "no wireless device" 
shows on the top menu  bar.

I'll have to pull out my textbook on writing shell scripts.  If your 
suggestions work, it'll be my first script!
