Sound gone since hoary upgradte (xine)

Hi,

I upgraded my system to hoary yesterday and everything went fine.
Except one thing: totem-xine doesn't want to play my video files sound
streams anymore (mp3 encoded).
No problem with the pictures (divx, realmedia - i can watch everything).

Just the sound is missing....
Has someone experienced the same problem or is it just me? :/
