I have switched most of my "regular" mail over to IMAP-capable mail
services. Very handy when your primary machine goes down or whatever.
Most mail clients nowadays can use IMAP.

BUT I have a lot of old email stored in Eudora mailboxes (which are
not exactly mbox format), so I was thinking of setting up an IMAP
service on the Ubuntu system so I can just copy from the old Eudora
mailboxes to a more "universal" format -- letting IMAP do the
translation.

I have not yet tried to set up an IMAP server and I was wondering if
it would be hard to do what I am thinking....
