If they do that, Ubuntu will FAIL. If you get a stable release, more or less
up-to-date, every 6 month, that's fine.
If you want the latest release of a program, get the source and compile it.
This "I want the latest thing" race kills the big distributions. I agree
Debian is slow to update, but then they make a distribution for servers.
Distributions like Ubuntu or Mepis build on the unstable/testing branch.
However, they should publish a release, not a beta.
