Stock Market Analysis

I'm looking for some a good software that will allow me to chart and
analyse Stock Market Trends for stocks on the Australian Stock
Exchange.

I 'sudo aptitude install smtm' (Show Me The Money) last night and It
looks good - if not a little 'ugly'.  I would prefer a GTK based
program rather than TK - does anyone use anything else or is SMTM the
best choice.
