Can't get new Radeon 9600se working

1) Sounds like an issue with the monitor cable? I know if I don't hold
my tongue the right way the colours are all pink (lacking blue/green).
Perhaps try another monitor just to check that, if you can.
2) I'm not sure what could be causing the lockups, try running fglrxinfo
to check that you're using the binary ATi drivers GL implementation. For
cards >9250 (ie 9500/9600/9700 on so on) the kernel ATi driver has no 3D
acceleration, so it's worth getting fglrx working if you want to play
some games :)
