Digital Camera Support?

I'm considering buying an HP Photosmart 935 digital camera, but before
I do, I'd like to be sure that it's likely to work under Ubuntu.
Apparently it uses the PTP protocol over USB, so I assume that would
be supported, right? I've seen some other posts about digital camera
issues, but it seems this has been fixed.
