I'm new to Ubuntu and haven't much experience of Debian. I have a
SoundBlaster PCI512 soundcard and I need to enable Midi for jedabc to
work as I am used to.
I've searched and Googled, read various HOWTO's, but I can't find the
answer. At present, to be able to play Midi files I have to :-
sudo /usr/share/alsa-base/snddevices then
sfxload /usr/share/sounds/sf2/<mybank>.sf2
I'm sure there must be a really simple way to do this automagically. But
how?
