This brings up a related concern I have. I modified checkfs.sh when I
was trying to solve a problem mounting a second hard drive during
boot. I took out my change, but almost certainly screwed up any
checksums that may be tracked on the file. How do I ensure that my
botched mods to checkfs.sh get obliterated when I eventually upgrade
to Hoary?
