[Fwd: [dsi-so-list] Ubuntu] Problems installing Warty on VMware

Hello folks,

I forward you directly an email sent by a friend of mine which has some
troubles installing Warty on his emulated VMware x86 system (Host is
Windows XP).

He gets this error as soon as he wants to boot from the Warty
installation CD: "Could not find kernel image: /install/vmlinuz".
(I have included the VMware error-message picture he sent me)

IMHO this sounds like a broken CD or wrong boot parameters.
