Installing Ubuntu errors

DR-DOS? Unless the AMD64 version of the CD is far different than the
i386, it should be booting into a live linux prompt, not DOS. This is
just a hunch, but how did you burn the ISO? You say that you made it
bootable, but the ISO should be bootable without any need to make it
bootable in the program. Depending on your burning program, you
should just have to select "Burn Image" or something of the sort. I
may be way off base here, as I am unfamiliar with the specifics of
your architecture, but I think you may have burned the disc
incorrectly. Reply back with your CD-burning application, and I or
another lost member will try to talk you through how to burn it
correctly.
